What should I expect when I come in for a Breast Enhancement consultation?

You can expect to be welcomed and put at ease from the moment you enter the office.  Gretchen Bornhorst, the patient coordinator will meet with you initially and review your interests regarding your breast surgery.  Next the nurse will bring you to the patient exam room, where you will be joined by Dr. Zoellner, who will listen to your goals and expectations and do an exam. We are very excited to now offer 3-D imaging of your breasts, so you will be able to see simulations of your breasts using different types of implants or implant sizes.  The Vectra 3-D breast imager, that very few practices in North Carolina offer, will greatly enhance your breast consultation experience.  You will have better input and confidence in choosing the most appropriate implant size for your body.  Your 3-D breast images will be reviewed with you by Dr. Zoellner and the patient coordinator during your visit.  Additionally, you will be able to access these images at home via your private patient portal.

Dr. Zoellner will discuss whether you are a candidate for breast augmentation only or might need to consider breast augmentation and a breast lift to obtain the best result. He will spend the necessary time with you and provide the information to help you make the best decision.  There will be ample opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

Though we will be happy to assist you with arranging a surgery date that fits your schedule, you will never be pressured to make a decision to proceed with scheduling any surgery.  In fact, we encourage you to take the information provided at your consultation and review it carefully before making a decision regarding possible surgery to enhance the appearance of your breasts.
